Last month, The Financial Times came to Shenzhen to interview Passage Maker founder and board member of the CSIC Mike Bellamy for a spread.  In the article they discuss best practices in doing business in China while maintaining a high moral standard.  They also cover the cultural duality you will inevitability encounter while living in China, dealing with Chinese business owners and their culture.
